Fjellrosa slipper

Fjellrosa slipper is an elegant, light and comfortable inodor shoe. The upper is 70% wool with a mix of nylon and polyester, which is needed for the strength. The rubber sole has a 4 mm heel for better comfort.

The embroidered pattern originates form Norwegian Rose-painting, the decorative folk painting popular from the 1700's to the mid 1800.  Originally this was used to decorate church walls and ceilings, before it became commonly used in private homes for furniture and smaller items such as wooden boxes and trays.

Fjellrosa is the Norwegian name for a flower (rose) from the mountains.

For best maintenance of you slippers, we recommend to carefully brush them with a clothes brush.

The slippers are embroidered in Latvia and produced in Italy.
